Avoid First Date Mistakes- Tips for Guys to Survive Their First Date

February 13th, 2012 by | No Comments | Filed in Uncategorized

Committing mistakes on your first date may jeopardize your chances of seeing the girl again, so it is important to know how to avoid first date mistakes and make a great first impression. Remember that first impression lasts forever and you have to make it right on your first date. Here are some tips to survive your first date:

Avoid being too serious. Men usually act different on their first date because they always want to play safe, so they become serious and forget to have fun with the girl they are dating. It is best to be yourself and have fun like when you are with your friends. Your date will feel comfortable if you are not too serious and you will treat her like one of your friends on your first date. Do not pressure yourself too much to be that perfect guy because you will appear unreal and boring.

This is just the first date so avoid being too demanding and needy. First date should be light and fun so being too personal on the first date can be a turn off for most women. Asking questions to find out if she really likes you is like putting her on the spot and may ruin your first date. Avoid being too demanding and asking for affirmation. Just have fun, talk, laugh and enjoy the moment with her. Keeping the mystery actually makes a woman interested and looks forward to know more about you.  Avoid being too needy and demanding and you will definitely avoid first date mistakes that most men usually commit.

Choose an exciting place to date her. Although movies and dinner are the common choice, your first date could become so boring if all you can do is eat and watch a movie. Be creative and think of an exciting place where you both can do something fun and memorable. Going to animal shows, carnivals or playing golf can be very exciting and fun. Think of something fun and unique that you both can do and your date will surely be fun and exciting.

Going on your first date with the woman of your dreams can make you nervous but with a good planning, you can avoid first date mistakes that will jeopardize your chances of having a second date. All married couples want  a relationship that would last a lifetime but not everybody knows how to create a lasting marriage.  Keeping a marriage is not easy but it is something that can be achieved with commitment and the right understanding of what you are getting yourself into.  Although there is no perfect marriage, couples are capable of creating a long-lasting marriage if they are willing to work on the following elements.

Honor the commitment. Many couples were able to survive the difficult times in their marriage because they were able to understand and honor their marriage commitment. Any marriage has its flaws and imperfections but the ways couples handle those imperfections make a great difference.  Couples should take their wedding vows seriously and the vows are not something that can be thrown out of the window in times of difficulties or trials. Trials are supposed to strengthen the marriage and not ruin it. Couples who accepted their vows as serious commitment are bound to create a long lasting marriage and divorce is not an option.

Mutual respect. Marriage is a union of two people and they should become as one. Although couples are united as one, they are still two different people who may clash once in a while due to their different beliefs, opinions, etc. Your differences can put a strain in your marriage if you do not know how to respect each other. So to create a long-lasting marriage mutual respect is a must.

Willing to sacrifice for your spouse.  One characteristic of true love is that you are willing to sacrifice and give way for your spouse. You do not have to be a martyr type of spouse but in a marriage there are situations that you have to give way to make your spouse happy.  In a marriage, it is not about you anymore. To create a long lasting marriage, you have to learn how to compromise or you have to know how to sacrifice for your spouse because this is something that people do for someone they really love. If you are willing to sacrifice for your spouse, the marriage will grow stronger.

Satisfying lovemaking. Couples are vulnerable to temptation if they are not sexually satisfied.  Lack of intimacy can put your marriage in danger. One of the reasons of infidelity is sexual dissatisfaction Couples connect emotionally and physically during lovemaking so both should reach the level of satisfaction to make the lovemaking something to look forward to. A healthy and satisfying sex life is important if you want to create a long lasting marriage.

Share responsibilities. Couples often have their own jobs or careers and it is best to share responsibilities at home especially if you have kids and errands to accomplish.   Keeping a marriage, a career and keeping things in order at home are too much for one person to handle. So to avoid stress in your marriage, share responsibilities.  Help your spouse to keep things smooth at home. This is also another opportunity to do things together and strengthen your marriage.

It takes a lot of work and dedication to create a long lasting marriage but it is not impossible for couples to spend the rest of their lives together.  If your marriage is going through difficult times, there are ways to save your marriage and avoid divorce. Visit The Magic of Making Up

This is the most important moment for her and for you that you will both remember as long as you both live. It could be very scary and stressful thinking on how you are going to do it. Ask the people close to her. You will be surprised that her family, relatives and friends will reveal adorable things about her that you do not know. If you really have a hard time creating a great marriage proposal that will take her breath away, ask her friends and family. They can give you ideas and suggestions to create a great marriage proposal. She will be amazed to know that you considered asking those people who are really close to her heart.

Marriage Proposals – Creative Ways to Pop the Question

September 27th, 2011 by | Comments Off | Filed in Marriage Proposal

Is it the right time to ask your special someone The Question? Whether standing on two feet or on bended knees, making your marriage proposal can be a very scary and exciting event. And you’d want to get it right, too. About 60% of engaged people say their proposal could have been better. If the hopeless romantic in you wants the perfect pitch, here are some creative ways to pop the question:

Tongue tied? Let a jigsaw puzzle say what you want. This is one of the many creative ways to pop the question. Have a special jigsaw puzzle designed with your proposal printed and then have it cut. Ask your loved one to help you put it together and when it’s nearing completion, excuse yourself to go to the bathroom or some fake errand and fetch the ring. Make sure he or she has completed the puzzle before you re-enter the room and pop the question.

Go on a treasure hunt is one of the creative ways to pop the question. Remember the reality TV show National Treasure? Why don’t you create a treasure hunting expedition of your own? Consider all the places that have special meaning to you both – the bar where you met, the place where you had your first date, the park bench where you first kissed, the favorite spot in the park where you liked to picnic, etc.

Plant a clue on each spot and then give her a treasure map. You can use romantic poems or quotes to begin each clue or use lines that rhyme for the clues. Once you’ve reached the last stop (the place where you’re going to pop the question), bring out the ring.

It’s a kind of magic. Hire a magician to help you think of creative ways to pop the question. Arrange the time and place where it will be and go out on a usual date with your loved one. Make sure to explain everything the magician has to know – what he needs to do, when and where exactly. When you pass by, tell your girlfriend or boyfriend that you want to watch the magic performance.

The magician then takes your beloved to participate in a magic trick. The magician can then ‘magically’ produce flowers and a note. When your girl or man reads the note, it’s your cue to pop the question.

Go fishing. If you both like fishing, this is one of the creative ways to pop the question. Prepare your fishing lines and tie the engagement ring securely at the end of one line and give that to your girlfriend. Wait a few minutes and then tell her to reel it in. Once she sees the ring, untie it, present it to her and ask her to marry you.

Ask them through a cartoon or computer-generated animation. If you or someone you know has talent in animation, this is one of the creative ways to pop the question using your talent. Prepare a short video of your proposal. Write a storyline that will tell the story of how you met and include significant events in your life. Use a popular fairy tale if you don’t have other ideas, but make sure the characters in the movie can clearly depict you both. At the end of the video (3 to 5 minutes will do), have your short film character pop the question.

Whatever creative ways to pop the question you decide to use, remember that a lot of things rely on planning and timing. Focus the entire proposal event on your story and include things, places and events that are unique to your relationship. Be creative, have fun and if everything goes right, there’s a huge chance you’ll get a ‘yes’.

Marriage proposals don’t have to cost a fortune. In fact, the best ones usually don’t. If you are thinking of getting engaged, you probably want to do it right. You want it to be amazingly special. Something she or he will want to share with everyone. Do you really want to know how to create a marriage proposal that will blow her (or him) away?
